No. You can start using GradedFolio immediately without signing up. Your data is stored locally on your device.

However, creating a free account (Google, Apple, or email) enables cloud sync so your portfolio is backed up and accessible across devices.

GradedFolio supports six categories:

• Trading Cards — Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, sports cards, and more
• Video Games — VGA and WATA graded games
• Comics — CGC graded comics
• Funko Pops — All Funko Pop figures
• Consoles — Graded retro consoles

GradedFolio supports all major grading companies:

• PSA — Professional Sports Authenticator
• BGS — Beckett Grading Services
• CGC — Certified Guaranty Company (cards, comics, games)

You can also add raw (ungraded) items to track their value.

GradedFolio uses AI-powered image recognition (Llama 3.2 Vision) to automatically read grading labels on slabs. Simply take a photo of your graded card, and the AI extracts:

• Card name
• Grade (numeric)
• Grading company (PSA, BGS, CGC)
• Set number
• Game type (Pokemon, Magic, etc.)

It works with both graded slabs (reads the label) and raw cards (reads the card face). For best results, ensure good lighting and hold the camera steady.

AI scanning works best when:

• The slab label is clearly visible and in focus
• There's good lighting without glare or reflections on the plastic
• The camera is steady (no motion blur)
• You align the slab with the on-screen guide

If scanning fails, you can always manually edit the card name, grade, and other fields after adding the item. The AI auto-retries once if the first attempt is unclear.

Yes! Switch to "Raw" mode in the scan screen. The AI will read the card face to detect the card name, set number, and game type. Raw cards are tracked without a grading company or grade.

GradedFolio fetches real-time prices from eBay "Buy It Now" listings. It searches for your exact card with grading company and grade, then calculates the average market price from the cheapest available listings.

Prices are automatically refreshed and support 30+ currencies with real-time conversion rates.

Prices are estimates based on current eBay listings. They reflect what sellers are currently asking, not necessarily what cards have sold for. Actual transaction prices may differ.

GradedFolio is not a financial advisory service. Do not use displayed prices as the sole basis for buying/selling decisions.

GradedFolio supports 30+ currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, and many more. You can change your currency in Settings. All prices are automatically converted using live exchange rates.

Payments are securely processed through LemonSqueezy. You can cancel anytime.

You can cancel your PRO subscription at any time through your LemonSqueezy account. After cancellation, you retain PRO access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Your portfolio data is never deleted — you can always continue using the free plan.

All portfolio data is stored locally on your device using IndexedDB. GradedFolio does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.

If you have a PRO account with cloud sync enabled, an encrypted copy is also stored in Firebase for cross-device access.

Yes. PRO users can export their entire portfolio as CSV or JSON from Settings. This is useful for backups, spreadsheet analysis, or migrating to another tool.

Free users can use the JSON backup feature to save their data.

Since data is stored locally, clearing your browser data or cache will delete your portfolio. We strongly recommend:

• Using the Export/Backup feature regularly
• Enabling cloud sync (PRO) for automatic backups
• Installing the PWA to your home screen (installed apps retain their data separately)

The 3D Showcase is an interactive, shareable display of your graded collection. Your cards are rendered in a 3D environment that others can explore. Each showcase has a unique shareable link.

It's a great way to show off your collection to friends, on social media, or in collector communities.

Only if you share the link. Showcases are not publicly listed or indexed by default. You control who sees your collection by sharing (or not sharing) the unique URL.

Try these steps:

• Refresh the page (pull down on mobile)
• Clear the app's cache: Settings > Clear Cache
• Use a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox)
• Check your internet connection — prices and AI scanning require internet

This can happen when:

• The card name doesn't match eBay listings closely enough — try editing the search query in the item detail
• The card is very rare with few or no active eBay listings
• eBay's API is temporarily unavailable

Tip: Include the grading company and grade in the search query for more accurate pricing (e.g. "Charizard GX SM60 PSA 10").
